CASology #7

Welcome to Week 7 of CASology!  Here's the Cue Card for this week:

I wanted to try and use patterned paper in a CAS way.  Normally I would do that by paper piecing so that the patterns appear in very small amount.  This time I wanted it to be all about the paper so I kept everything else to a minimum.  By using just the outline of the tree and some subtle pearls, the paper is the star of the card and it's a quick and easy make.

Now, have a hop around and visit the rest of the DT for some fabulous inspiration:

Also this week's guest designer:

Link your creations up to the CASology blog and remember that submissions are due by Sunday, 26 August at noon CST.

Supplies Used

Stamps:  (Tree from Spring Groves, Sentiment from Vogue Abode) Paper Smooches

So sweet & soft - and sad. Really, somehow it all really conveys the "miss you" feeling, while being gorgeous :)

This is amazing! I love that background. So you're saying it's not an inked acrylic block but patterned paper?!
